Equipment: unknown fuel information

NOx emissions for equipment are calculated with use of the AUB methodology (adblue, operating hours and fuel usage). In case fuel information is unknown, a default calculation can be made using TNO average fuel consumption information. These averages are based on two equipment properties: manufacturing year and maximum power in kW. When these two variables are available, a calculation using average consumption is possible.

BigMile will automatically calculate emissions when fuel information is set to 0 or left empty in the import file. The average fuel consumption is retrieved from the TNO table and used for both calculation of NOx emissions and CO2e emissions.

When a file is imported you can select if theoretical fuel consumption should be used yes/no in case of missing fuel information.
