Custom Display names
The Allows users to personalize how field names appear across the frontend. This helps teams tailor the application (especially in dashboard and reporting) to internal naming conventions or language.
How To Use:
- Navigate to the Definitions page.
- Locate the editable Display Name column.
- Edit the desired field name (e.g. change "Customer Name" to "Client").
- Prompt: If you rename a field, the system may also prompt you to update related fields (e.g. changing “Customer Name” → triggers a suggestion to rename “Count of Customers”).
- You can now see the adjusted names in e.g. Dashboarding or reporting.
Notes:
- Only columns that are actually used in the frontend are available for editing the display name. e.g. asset_key_1 is not alterable.
